I know I skipped the last series but not on purpose. I’m still gathering three of the figures up for review. I did however just get this set for my birthday and wanted to open it and review it. The figures are such a far cry from the original faulty collection. Not only do they already have the grenade pegs connected to the figure but the pieces are all great. It comes with four figures. One is an Elite which I will sell. The other three are two from Noble team and another a Green/Silver Spartan. I held some of the single figures and a two pack and man I am EXCITED not only for the game but the figures. One day I will have a SPARTAN Mountain diorama until then enjoy these picts. Also not the series one vehicles are on their way!!!! And yes, that’s a Warthog!!!!!!

Some Joe's cost an ass lode of cash. Back in the day the International Joe's such as the ones below were very hard to find for Americans as they were sold in Argentina. I luckily new a kid from Brazil and scored De Aco. But others like Thompson now can go any where from 400.00 to higher. The 400.00 ones are usually incomplete and missing thumbs and what not. Any how at the last Joe Con they were selling the New 25th style body's Below are the international Three man set. I got these at a steal. and below they are displayed for your pleasure.

Then being a member of the Joe club I received my Joe figure for the year. Big Lob came from the GI Joe Cartoon Movie. He was awesome. And every kid waited to see when he would be included on a card back for their collection. Sadly that never happened. Below is every 80's Joe Kids dream come true.

Last but not least the re-issue of the GI Joe battle horse. A Ninja Boba Cox snagged this originally priced at 60.00 for me for 11.00 How epic.

I had always been a fan of these figures back in the day. When I grew up the days of the 12” figure were gone with the birth of the New Joes in 82. Then around 2000 a whole new era of Soldiers in 12” scale began. Now I find my collection with more than I can count. It began when I started getting one or two per Birth Day from friends. I friggen love the details and look of the weapons. The size makes Diorama’s decent to do, and all in all it’s just a swell collectible. Below are two Soviet Spetzna troopers. Boxed (Although they are opened now) Check em out!

I figure if I blab enough about how crappy the quality control is at McFarlane on their figures some one will read this from there and fix it. It also doesn't help they closed their replacement parts division of their website at spawn.com. Out of the package I noticed one the side of a sniper rifle for the Blue Scout one of the bi pods was completely not there..... And on the Game Stop Exclusive Spartan, out of the package the Rocket launcher handle broke right off.... UGHHHHH

Yet again though we have a really great looking wave of Spartans..... LOOKING being the key, these are not to be played with folks.... Unless you want broken parts all over. Above is the scale difference of the characters. I commend McFarlane for this detail. The chick is shorter than the Guy, the guy is shorter than the Spartan. And it looks cool.

Another change is the design of the figures seems different. The newer molds have a better joint system I think, and the choice to do not just HALO 3 figures but other HALO games is a great one!

Also below is the last of the send aways the Active Camo Recon trooper. I do realize they made the all Gold Spartan, but really? Do we need it? No... I don't. Enjoy Series 7!!!!

What can I say; McFarlane has one of the worst WORST Quality control in the toy business…. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve collected McFarlane figures sense day 1. But they need to get their crap together or I am DONE with collecting their figures. Why am I so angry……? Well for starters three figures from this new series had their legs not all the way placed on the figure. See the pictures below of the AMAZON Exclusive Haybusa green figure, Not only did his arm fall off out of the package but his left was not all the way fixed at the knee joint, nor can it be as it wasn’t properly fitted to the whole on the leg… JUNK. And it was like this with two other figures in this series for me….. It’s kind of pathetic…. And luckily I set them up for display and super glue does the trick but god forbid a kid wanted to play with these…..

Needless to say McFarlane once again created a fantastic ‘LOOKING’ line of Spartans. They also created the Mongoose, one of my favorite vehicles in the game series. Each comes with a Un Armed Spartan but with the release of the weapons packs you can arm the heck out of them. We can all wish for a Warthog but until that day I will take the Mongoose instead of nothing! Enjoy series Six!!!

More troops... Extras more like it. My Buddy Pete once got a lego set in the mail that was nothign of what he ordered, It was more like a grab bag of lego pieces and parts, with all of these Imperials, in which he gave me!!! SWEEET!

First off more troopers. An ATAT Pilot and three Sand troopers. The dew back with the Tantooine set had one, he needs palls.

Then Set 3342. Another chance to get two more speeder bike troops. Armed and ready for battle.

Another great set for troopers is 7659. This set came with a Tie Pilot, Two standard Stormtroopers and two Sandtroopers minus the back pack like his Tantooine trooper came with.

Then one of my Faves, the return of the Imperial Shuttle. With More troops and a couple cool little Play set items. This one featured four Storm troopers unlike any other set. Their legs are painted. You also get two more Imperial Guardsmen, Two Flesh colored Imperials and Vader and Palpatine. Wicked neet.

First off, extra troops. The first is General veers from the motorized ATAT, The Second, an extra Imperial Pilot from the Imperial Shuttle set. Thirdly, a Self made female ATST Pilot.

next we have 6 sets of Set 7201 (Minus the Luke that came with them) I foudn these at a KB toys for 1.99. I couldn't pass the chance to build my Stormtrooper batallion.

And finally set 7667 X2 A way to build up your stormtroopers and Shadow troopers. A real neat drop ship vehicle to boot. A throw back to the 70' Kenner Micro vehicles they came out with.

Continuing on the Imperial Lego theme, I bring you some of my all time favorite Imperial sets.

First Set 7166 The First Imperial Shuttle. One of the first Star War's Lego sets I layed eyes on and was like... EPIC. Back when Lego figures were still yellow, this was a must have. The pilot was just your regular old lego pilot, and the Guardsmen were awesome as well.

Then Set 7128. Speader bikes. One of my first sets owned. They were some of my favorite Imperial troopers.

Set 7139 Featured a different style speader along with a Storm Trooper ready for action!!!

Set 4501 Mos Eisley Cantina featured a wicked cool Sandtrooper and Dew Back.

And the latest 8084 Snow Trooper Battle pack is full of Imperial Troops! Including a newly designed Snow Speader Bike, a lot different from the one packed with the Awesome ATAT.

Lego E-Web Madness!!!!

Now that we have the commercial done, I did decide to sell it all, save for my Imperials! Here are the three E-Web Lego sets out so far. The first is of course my redo of the one that came with Set 4504 The re design of the Millennium Falcon. I thought the E-Web was retarded. So I borrowed a friends and redesigned it my self and Walla you have still in my humble opinion the best E Web you can have.

Then Lego's Second E-Web cannon. It came with set 7666 I only kept the Imp's from this set, and the cannon I think was a horrible design. But hell the Probe droid is cool.

and then we have the latest attempt. With set 7749 we have a real cool decent version. I think it rocks compared to the past issued ones. and that would be it for the biggest cannon Storm Troopers dumped with in the original trilogy.

McFarlane HALO Series 5 Review

Halo Series 5. Equipment addition Part Deuce.

Well here we are again with yet another set of really cool Spartan’s. My reviews are all on Spartans as those are what I collect. I could care less on the bad guys. Other than really poor quality control at McFarlane toys these figures are again really neat. Poor quality control in meaning the figures is in rough shape right out of the package. For instance, Sgt. Johnson’s right arm falls off while he just stands there, Many of the Brute shot weapons break while trying to fit them in the Spartan’s hands and the fames legs and arms of the Spartans some times cant rotate in the joint with out snapping them hence breaking them off the figure….What good is 24 Moving parts if you cant position any of them in fear of breaking the figure?!?!?!?!?

That being said you have a number of exclusives and cool boxed sets. Let’s start with the exclusives,

The Epic Griff Ball Spartan. Any one playing on Line knows this game, First place I got 5 Kills at once.... This figure was a Toys R Us Or Comic Con exclusive.

Then we had the number of Exclusives from individual Stores such as Entertainment Earth.

GI Joe Rise of Cobra Small vehicles.

Again these are not every vehicle in the line just as the figures below, Just the ones I chose worthy for my Joe room. The Stupid drill and drill viper set are ones not in my collection because they are well, sad. So below are the small vehicles out so far, opened and on display now here they are prior.

The Cobra Snake trax. Complete with a cool version of Scrap Iron, and the old Cobra ATV complete with a tow looking rocket launcher and fron winch.

Then we have the Armored Panther. This tank is like the 80's version and comes with Thunder Blast who looks like Thunder from the 80's.

Then the Rock Slide with good ole Snow Job. Wicked pissah!

Ok so here is part 2. All the Rise of Cobra Figs I have as of late. I will start posting vehicles next. Below are the ones I deem worthy of purchase, and below I will state why!!! Enjoy!!!

Cobra Viper Commando, If I was going to knock over a bank, this is what I would dress in.

Storm Shadow, Unmasked. Sure us Yo Joers had to wait until 2004 to get an unmasked Storm Shadow. Now the lazy SOB kids get one right off the bat...

Half Naked, Cut, and according to the card, an Artic version of Storm Shadow. Man he must have been having a shitty day.

An the original Storm Shadow. Got to get him because he is a Ninja!!!

So Hasbro does it again, Was Timber White or Black??!?!??!?! Well according to the new figures as was in the Real American hero series, he was both. My Ninja Snarf has a whopping three color variants of this figure. I have sadly two.

Unlike his Ninja Brother during the Artic battle, Snake Eyes is Well equipped.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Scarlett......

One of the best Cobra Troops yet, Para Viper, A recolor of the Real American Hero Figure, This one is cooler and not purple.

Neo Viper - What ever that means, Is sick looking, In a Rob the Federal Reserve by Gun point scary!

Ice Vipers. The old ones where sick and drove a Sled like Cobra Vehicle. now they come with personal Sleds.

GI Joe Rise of Cobra. Part 1.

GI Joe Rise of Cobra Collection.

Unlike the Real American Hero collection in which I bought every figure and vehicle of, I will only buy the ones I deem worthy or cool looking out of the new movie line, all of which will exclude the new Cobra Commander which is friggen so retarded I can’t even begin to say.

So to begin what will be a few posts, I am doing this one on some figures I ran across today, and will finish the post up with the ones I already have in a few days. Then I will go onto the vehicles I snagged. Man y are remakes of olds Joe and Cobra sets so I think they are worthy of battle with my others.

So as to be the first kid on the block to post some new releases here we go.

We'll start with Emotep or Zartan in this film.

Then the Lone Joe of this batch, Flash, Upgraded.

Then the Cobra Elite Viper. He looks sick.

Then what looks to be an Imperial Guardsmen from the Empire,

Well here he is, the 2nd figure upgrade I received from McFarlane online with my halo points. Coming with the helmet, chest and shoulder armor you get the ultimate recon warrior. The next one I will snag will be the invisible/active camouflage version of this figure. And soon to come series Five!!! Get ready for a but load of more Spartan warriors. I will have to take a picture of the entire force when the Fifth series is complete!!!!!!

McFarlane's Halo Series four, or Equipment addition 1!

McFarlane's Halo Series four, or Equipment addition 1!

Well series four, or to others known as equipment addition 1, do to the pieces of HALO Online play battle equipment included with each figure was released recently. I only review the Spartans, I don't care to much for the covenant figures. below are the few figures created with this series. we saw the Security Spartan for the first time and quiet a few different weapons with each. My only beef with them is the right hand is so tight that guns practically bend when you put them in their hands, Come on guys, you make a superior product, fix this, also the hands are not quality checked. I tried turning one and it litterly snapped the wrist off. Super glue fixed it but, sad Chinese manufacturers don't care about American collectors I guess....

First we got the exclusives! YAYYYY!! Another beef I have are the Orange over sea's exclusives. Luckily I know folks over in the U.K. and Australia who hook me up, but god, 2nd market prices for these figures are like 100.00 at first. It is insane!!

We'll see if the Lucas Clone pandemic continues with McFarlane, I think it would be better for them to pursue vehicles now that every colored figure under the rainbow has been done, but we shall see.

Sideshow Collectibles Cobra Commander.

Off the Fing hook doesn't even describe this figure. I mean it doesn't help that Cobra Commander is my above all favorite Cobra of all time, I mean yeah fire fly and Storm Shadow come in a very very close second. But back in 1982 when me and my brother Jake were taken to a K Mart to snag a Return of the Jedi figure by my Uncle Ricky and stopped in awe as we walked in to a full display of GI Joes, and I snagged Cobra Commander and Jake Snagged Grunt, forgetting star wars ever existed, I new as I held the ultimate evil leader in my hand it was destiny!!!!

Now comes this end all be all figure of awesomeness. yeah I wish he was the helmeted version but come on, this hooded one even comes with the sick ass blow dryer looking weapon of doom. the one that attached to his back as a figure... OFF THE HOOK!!!!!!

I ordered the convention Crimson version also and can't wait to see that one. below are the box art of the figure and opened shell also. When I have a display worthy of showing these off I will open him and post pictures but for now, Figure number 2 of the side show Joe sets, Outstanding job guys!!!!!!

MICRO Joes!!!

Where was I? Oh yeah, GI Joe's....

Some where about when I stopped collecting GI Joe's back in 1992, either because the figures were becoming neon, or I just was finding other things to do like whore and drink, (joking - on the whoring part) Hasbro started putting micro figures in with the regular Joe's as a bonus. I had only one back in the day and that was Snake Eyes. Now some where in a massive bag of army men no doubt still in my Parents attic. These how ever I found when I was able to snag the entire set from a fellow collector. I was also able to snag the vehicle lot, Which I was told were Walmart exclusives?!?!?

Vehicles Left to Right off the top of my head... MOBAT, Warthog, Snow Cat, AWE Striker, Troop Carrier, VAMP II, Pulverizer, and the Awesome HISS.

Either way they are a cool part of Joe history. They came from Hasbro with a File Card poster and I recall a small comic packaged with the figures talking about how Evil Destro Micronized the Joe's. Either way these were not even a quarter of the size of the Regular figs and were basically just a stand there in your pose style of figure.

"Are you my big brother?"

The Joe's of course overwhelmed the Cobra's in numbers, because they were cheap like that and could never fight fair... I mean uhhhh.....

Top Left to right again off the top of my head, Rock N Roll (which is funny he was molded with the gun Repeater was packaged with) Grunt, Snake Eyes, Beach Head, Flint, Wet Suit, Duke.

Bottom Left to Right, Gung Ho, road Block, Bazooka, Sgt Slaughter, Hawk and of course half naked Quick Kick.

and then of course the sad poor Cobra's.

Left to Right, Crimson Guard, Cobra Soldier, Cobra Commander, Major Blood, Buzzer, Destro, and the BAT.

These are the only one's I know that they made. If any others were they weren't released in the US. A Pretty cool novelty of Joedom for any Joe fan out there!!

GI Joe VAMP Mark II and Python Patrol 25th!

YO JOE!!!

Ok, what kid didn’t botch the hell out of their Joes back in the day trying to make the super trooper of figures? I made a few when I was young, My Brother josh had a million parts and was like Dr. Frankenstein with his Joes, and my brother Jake, well, he would just bash his Joes with rocks and patch em back together, I can remember Beach head had a fate like that.

But as Joe collectors get older they decide to at least from the forums, make better detailed Joes. I’ve seen some ‘off the hook’ customs that blow my mind. I am not that skilled, so when I had an extra Thunder and Clutch figure, I decided to do the easy rout and just swap heads. Creating the below Thunder in Desert gear. Joes weren’t all to desert styled back in the early years. We had maybe two desert camoed figures up until 1985 with Dusty. Or was that 86. But any how we had the Clutch figure that came with the VAMP Mark II, and we had Grunt, who came in what looked like desert fatigues flying the Falcon Glider. These two made up any desert force I had, not that Deserts were all to prominent in the marsh lands of the South shore of Mass.

So, here in Texas, years later I display to you my Desert team of old days, The VAMP Mark II (traded at some point with my good friend Josh) and the three desert troops. Clutch, Thunder and Grunt.

NEXT, my first 25th Anniversary displayed set. I am one of those Joe collectors that by passed the sets that weren’t anything like our Joes of old. This collection changed my mind, and it is sad that the 25th anniversary is stopping for the HORRID Movie figures. Don’t even get me started on Cobra commander from the film……

SO, without further addue, I give you my Python patrol force coming up some river in East Texas for an assault on some weapons facility. The vehicles from the series although almost spitting image to the vehicles of old, just like the figures, are still enough different that they add an awesome flair to a series loved by fans!!!

Much like the GI Joe Flag points of old, Or the Star Wars proof of purchases before them, McFarlane toys has come out with a Halo Points system. Each figure you Buy (save for the HORRIBLE Halo heroic collection which was missing said points) You can get a number of points. All redeemable for certain HALO items. I redeemed mine for the two sets below. The legendary samurai sword and the crimson Recon armor. I will eventually get the blue and active camo armor also available but only had enough points for these baby's.

As you can see, it transformed the EOD trooper to the hated and despised RECON assholes from HALO online play, who also wag their Samurai Sword in your face to prove they are better than you while tea bagging your dead body. They are also the ones I charge at with a Sticky grenade prepared to commit martyrdom against them any chance I get!!!! :)

On a scale of 1 to 10 though on this great Idea by McFarlane I say it is deffinetly a 10!!!

HALO Mini's McFarlane.

Well they have a series two coming out, and I wont be buying them. So this will be the first and last review on these things. I was highly disappointed. And was looking forward to this collection. I have every Joyride studios mini made, and think they are fantastic, Pose able, have vehicles. SO when I got the three exclusive controllers with the Mcfarlane minis, I thought, Nice here is a chance to snag more troops in the same some what height range, and even though not very pose able, a really cool add on to some sick dioramas I may build one day.

WRONG.

Please see below the image of the Olive Drab Master chief controller packed figure (with the HALO 360 Good guys controller) Behind is the Joyride studios trooper one of the last before they lost the HALO License, and then the NEW Blue armored McFarlane mini's......

As you can see, none are compatible in size, not even McFarlanes Green and blue mini's. So this brings McFarlanes Halo figure line to not one, not two, Not even three, but, FIVE different Sized series to collect.... ENOUGH. I am just sticking with the six inchers. Not only are the new mini halo figs not compatible with any Joy ride vehicles or even McFarlanes own Controller mini's, but the figures barely stand up on a shelf with even the stands they come with. SAD. barely possable and barely able to stand on their own unless leaned against something, it is a depressing line. And I do not recommend them. Which is tough to say because I LOVE Mcfarlane toys, but these look rushed, and crappy. Nothing like the ones they produced in the past. But here we go below with Series 1. I wont be snagging any of the others unless they are white with swords. :)

McFarlane HALO 3 Series 3.

If it wasn't for one of my sleaper agents in Australia, I would never had finished series 3. For one reason, McFarlane made two over sea's exclusives. The Silver Mark VI and the Orange Hayabusa. Thank God Unix Ninja currently is in service in the land down under, because he has hooked me up. Series 3 is another great Re Painted series. Do I think McFarlane is going Lucas Clones on us?! Maybe. But as long as they keep making new weapons for these figures I am good with it. My only pet peave is of course the availability of the Exclusives. Making it very hard for a collector to even try to snag these bad boys if your a completest. Which for HALO I am. Well lets start off with the one and only...

Master Chief, Sporting a Sniper Rifle and Brute Grenade, he is ready for action.

With all of the Lego sets I've owned over the years, through trades or purchases or payments for deals I've done (Scandalous look : ) I will say behind the Classic Castle, Space is my Second favorite. So with this post, what is to be the FINAL Lego Space post I will do (I know I said that last time) but in all honesty I really have no reason to buy any more, in fact my collecting has stopped to only HALO McFarlane, GI Joe's and the Roman Ignite series, and occasional Star Wars Lego set's when I find em cheap, when my collecting used to be about fifteen lines, no lie. Enough about the collecting buis, on to the last post of Lego space sets I have.

This post will range from classic to the current sets out. All Small ones these sets will display the diversity of the Space lines. I start with

Set 1580 Lunar Scout.
One of the coolest sets I've seen ever, this vehicle is fully equipped for traveling the lunar lands. Complete with tools and what not, this was one of my first 'Built from Scratch' sets, which his helmet is still in the mail!!!

Then there were the ever so hated Blacktron II series. WTF is right. Why go from cool black and yellow sets to these? no clue. Here are a couple I scored back when I collected the Pirate series which i traded fully to Boss Hogg Ninja for a GI Joe Base!!! Soon to be reviewed.

Set 1479 2 pilot Patrol Craft.

Blacktron II had a counter part or enemy named M Tron. Another set I scored from a collection.
#1478 Satellite Uplink vehicle.

Below are troops from set #6704 Mini figure collection. Only one is missing, and only one doesn't belong. The Blacktron trooper was already displayed in the Blacktron review. The red Futron soldier is the one who doesn't belong but there to show the change of uniforms.

then #6835 The flying saucer.... Yep no clue why Lego went from the classic look but hey this series was short lived.

set #1195 is the Life on mars series. These were petty cool out when the movie Red Planet came out, I think it spurred some interest in kids for planet study. Although the sets were weird for me.

And then the current return of the Space series. The Mars Mission figures. Two things cool about this series. one the use of the Futron symbol of old, and two the Alien enemy looks like Sygorney Weaver's enemy from the Famed Aliens.

Set #7695 Astro Fighter is a cool and small set!

#7648 the Miner set is also a cool set reminding me of an old Fisher Price figure set called Alpha Star I had as a kid!

And lastly we have set #5616 I am glad to see Lego going to small sets again. Kids love em for the cheapness and fast build!

Lego Space Classic Part 2!

First Set 885 - the Space Scouter. Simple yet fun for kids!

Set 6807 was a heck of allot like an ejection Seat!!

Set 6802 - Rocket Shooter. Came complete with a robot!

Set 6849 - Satellite Patroler was a later set still using the original space guys with minor changes to their helmets.

And then Futron. Set 1974 Star Quest came with a multi pack of Legos. one Castle and another a town set. This introduced the New futron. below him are three different types of the uniform, I also believe there was a red and yellow suite. The wings folded on this vehicle to also make it a semi tank of sorts.

Ultimate Soldier. German 1:6th Troops.

One thing I loved about the Ultimate soldier line was how cheap and how awesome their sets were. I put together these two Germans from having left over figures, and buying two uniform sets. One German Machine gunner the other a grenadier. They are two of the three German troops I have from the WWII era. Once ultimate soldier stopped making figures, I stopped collecting 12" troopers save for the ignite Roman series which I will cover another time. So below are two of my German soldiers. front and back so you can see their gear. These guys are pretty cool and for next to nothing are good to have. Why am I covering them now? Well, I just got done beating Call of Duty world at war for a second time on my 360 (GOD DAMN YOU LOST SAVED GAME) and one of my favorite things is shooting the crap out of these Nazi Bastards!! : ) Enjoy!!!

Yeah it is locked down like fort Knox; My Collectible room finally got completed last year in January of 07. I took a ton of pictures and added em to my site’s I frequent, well, not happy with the shelving I am switching over to a lockable Glass style case system, and will be starting with the Lego collection. So before tearing everything down and packing a lot up I bring to you the pictures of the collection. Before it all is re arraigned and changed over to the new shelves which should take a year or more to do. A lot here has been sold and or reviewed. McFarlane HALO Send aways.

So far there are only three in this set. Two happen to be from this years comic con. the third is a pre order from the website www.spawn.com

Note the card differences. The first shown is the Series 3 Master Chief, he features a orange colored border. Followed by the multi player series which features a blue border, and then the Comic con and send away exclusives that feature smaller blister cards.

The first I will review is the comic con CQB Active camo Spartan. The figure is awesome all though I think they used a poor plastic because he seams to be more yellowed than the other active camo Spartan let alone his gun.

Note the Comic Con Exclusive side sticker.

Another cool thing about these three send aways is the small Bio's not done on any of the other card backs.

Then there is the Spawn colored Hell Spartan. One of my favorites. I had the guy who sold me this ask if I would open it when I said yes, he called it sacrilegious, so just for him, below is a picture of it carded. Followed by the Spartans Bio.

And last but not least....

The pre order send away EVA Active camo Spartan. This figure is as cool as his counterparts.

The next send aways due to come out are the HALO Rewards points exclusives. I will need about 800 points to get what I want out of those send aways and currently I am at...... 480. But with more Spartan's coming out, I should have all the points I need for a few extra items to review!!! Next, HALO Series 3!!!

Mcfarlane HALO Series 2.

Addiction. The Webster definition of addiction is compulsive need for and use of a habit-forming substance. I guess that could describe my habit of HALO 3 McFarlane figures. I only collect the good guys, because they are enough to line my shelves in my collectible room. Some say McFarlane has gone 'Lucas Hasbro Clone colors' on us. But, I still enjoy them and the wide variety of different color units. Although I have no idea where the Pink armor would fit in combat. That being said, I will begin with series two. My only beef with McFarlane HALO figures in general is the issue with them only selling certain figures in certain countries. Like the Orange Hybusa armor from series 3 which I will review soon. Yes I have the orange one, (Thanks Unix Ninja from Australia) But it does suck that in order to 'Complete' a collection, you have to either one, sell your soul on E-bay to acquire them or two, know some one in said country's that these items are available in. But other than that issue, I Love the line, and will be sold on them until McFarlane stops making them. I was a fan with Mcfarlane toys ever sense my first Spawn figure back in the day, the spaghetti faced Spawn as he was known. But back a few years ago more like almost ten, I had to sell the Spawn collection off to fix a car. Having the HALO figures and being addicted to HALO the game kind of gets me back in with the Spawn/McFarlane pieces of art, and yes I was ecstatic with the EVA Spawn figure they came out with at the con last year (I will be reviewing the On Line limited HALO figures next which he is included in.)

Well enough of my babbling, On to some HALO Spartan figures of awesomeness. (Shout out to my ninja Boba Cox, if it wasn't for his diligent hunting I would never have all of these!)

First and for most Master chief. Spartan 117. Equipped with the laser cannon, this weapon is sick, and as any one knows who plays HALO it is devastating if it hits it's target.

Ahhhhh A pink Spartan. This was sold only in Canada (go figure) and I guess may have been a shout out to the female players of HALO. Yeah that's it..... and why do I own it.... I am a completest dang it!!!!

The 'Gold' Spartan was released only through FYE stores.

The Red CQB the only CQB Spartan this series was available where ever Halo figures were sold.

The same with the SPARTAN Scout. Tan version!

The ODST Marine was one on my list because he is one of the only Black suited troopers in the mix. I can not wait until this game comes out where you can play as one of these bad ass'

Following him, are the SPARTAN ODST Troopers. They are bigger in size and have more armor. The first the STEEL version was a Game Stop Exclusive.

And then we have one of two Walmart Specials. One being the ODST Turquoise trooper.

The Second Wal-mart special edition is the EOD Trooper. I played as this armor set for the longest time before earning the Hybusa armor on line.

Next, The available every where Lime Green EOD Trooper.

And last but not least the Toys R Us EVA trooper.

And a white one available at Comic shops. This is added to my White Squad of warriors. With this I will review for your viewing pleasure the three exclusives and then on to series 3!!!

GI Joe Combat Heroes.

Well back in June during the Comic Con in San Diego, Hasbro unveiled the new GI Joe Line Combat Heroes. Mimicking the Star Wars line and Super heroes and Transformer line that followed, these are more like Army men for kids. I didn't know where exactly I sat on the fence of these figures, I mean I had a few Star Wars ones, and a Sound Wave Transformer one, But was I sold on the GI Joes?!?!

It wasn't until I came across them at a local TRU, that I knew where I was, SOLD!!! As I left the store with the series 1 set, Now they are all over my desk at work, My favorite is Fire fly, equipped with his machine gun and six pack of explosives, these are a must have for Joe fanatics like my self. and they are a cheap alternative to the figures when it comes to getting your kid into the Joe life.

Below are series 1 and soon to come series 2 along with the limited edition Snake Eyes and Timber Comic con pack.

LEGO - BLACKTRON Collection.

Lego Blacktron Collection.

I've been a Lego fan sense I was a kid. I was big into town, Castle, and Space, yet as I grew, one collection remained my favorite. That was the Space sub Set Blacktron. These guys would devastate my Lego town folk, destroy the gas station, Police station and air port, then run a muck down the lego like highway pieces blowing up cars and trucks alike. Over the years I gave or lost most of all my town collection, re- bought allot of my castle sets, still hunting for a few. and recently finally completed my Blacktron collection with a few sets I never even owned or new existed, thanks to http://www.bricklink.com/ So with out further adue, I bring you Blacktron.

I start with set number 1875 Meteor Monitor. This one I never knew existed, what is to be the last Blacktron set ever, before the retarded Blacktron II's this set was small and included instead of yellow parts that were automatically distinguishing of blacktron, came with white parts. With a little cheap purchase off of bricklink, I gave this vehicle the parts needed to blend with his brothers. the Vehicle is a great little recon craft!!!

1875 Meteor Monitor.

Next, I give you the Alienators. My first Blacktron set as a kid, I now bought two, resembling a Imperial Vehicle, I loved this craft, like many Blacktron vehicles it could break apart and become other things. the front detached to become a flying rover or, an ejection pod. The back raised up to expose tools for the pilots mission. This was a cheap and yet fun toy!!!!

6876 Blacktron Alienator.

One I did not have as a kid, infact the following three are sets still even to this day very expensive to purchase complete, is one like above has many forms, it came with a robot, and could detach into three pieces, A work pod, A flyer, and a robot like sentry flyer. Combined it resembled a what I thought was a fuel tanker set.

6894 Invader.

The Jeep of Blacktron, the bad ass, Battrax. This vehicle was hardcore. The back shot off for a flying defender, proving why against the other space lego sets, these guys were indestructible!!!!

6941 Battrax.

The super fighter, which included a small vehicle, plus a few figures (I army built more to fill all the seats) this vehicle was a no mess around attack craft, it also had folding wings, and MANY places to sit gunners on the wings!!

6954 Renegade.

then the set I loved as a kid, I re bought, the Message intercept base. Complete with a flyer, Jeep like buggy, and a few figures (I army built some more for all of the positions - plus added tools to the rack) This base was so awesome! The tower moved on tracks, the base opened to reveal a fighter, it was indestructible as a kid, and this collection warrants it's own shelf in my toy room!!!

I Love Sound wave, he was my first Transformer as a kid, I got him used, and loved that toy, simple enough for me to transform from tape deck to robot, not like his friends who pissed me off. Below is a Transformer play figure, created from the same group that did the Star wars and super heroes, plus the GI Joes coming soon, these are made mostly for young kids, I got the two pack, he came with Bumble bee, which I gave to my friend Stacey who loves Bumble bee, and I kept sound wave, these don't move but are fun looking.

Below is my sound wave I snagged this weekend for my desk. This is from the new animated show, and I love this thing because laser beek is included and is pretty bad ass as a bird. It did take me having Stacey to transform it to robot for me the first time because I was about to break it... I am just plain old bad with these I admit it. I was a joe kid, Stick gun in hand, point shoot, miss said cobra... transforming these things was a recipe for a broken arm. sad I know. But Here he is in Souped up ghetto van to Gorilla looking robot. I have not yet watched the animated series but, by the looks of the figures, it looks pretty sweet!!!

One thing I can say about McFarlane is they know how to make a damn realistic Action Figure. Take for instance series 1 of the Halo figures. They are fantastic and with me almost all but done collecting toys, and selling my collections off, These are the only ones left to sit on my shelf when all is said and done. Below I have all of series 1 save for the bad guys who iwasn't to into getting. The Master Chief, The two Walmart exclusives Blue. The two red Spartans. The EB Games Steal Spartan and of course, the Comic store only exclusive The White Spartan, My Battle armor!!!!!!!!

G.I Joe Carrying Cases!

Well this post is of the carrying cases that carried every kids Joe's into other realms of the neighborhood or school it self. The only one I had as a kid i will start off with, it was a case that attached to your belt like a Ammo case, and held three Joe's, it also doubled as a Star Fighter for me and escape pod for the Joe's when Cobra was woopen up on em.

The next case made in 1984 was not from Hasbro and instead from a company named Tara Corp. it is a must in my collection not only because it was given to me as a present from my sister in law but because it's really cool GI Joe art work.

What is real cool about this is the pre production paint jobs on the Joe's pictured on the back. Luckily they came allot cooler than what is pictured, but this is a great piece in the Joe room.

Before I tag up the last Robotech Segmant, I'm posting this old review I did a while back.

Set #7018 Viking Ship challenges the Midgard Serpent.

What had become my Second Favorite Lego Set ever to build, this was more than a blast to set up. That along with it being a Viking Ship (My second favorite Lego series next to their short run of Ninja's) made it even cooler. I have two Viking sets left to get to complete the collection. The Viking fortress and the Viking Chess set which will be basically a soldier factory for my ships instead of the game board it's intended to be.

With next Friday coming and my purchase of more shelving to display my sets on, I've been slowly piecing my collection back together from the move. This Set had been in my Cellar for years before now, with time and space I went at it in the morning and had it done in a few hours. The ship is massive, the serpent is awesome and I sit here wondering why the hell didn't they have this when I was a kid, If only Lego came out with a Roman series and a coliseum set… One can dream. But here are some shots of the overall size of this thing.

Robotech Vehicles.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program. Robotech the vehicles. I will have two more robotech Posts after this, so here goes, Vehicles from robotech are sweet, Before the master collection which I will cover later, There was Matchbox, Harmony gold, and then something from a 90's cartoon series called Robotech Exo squad, which for the most part were the older 80's vehicles re issued. I had as a kid the original Invid shock trooper which fought my Tie Interceptor (with out wings) and Jetfire tranformer on a daily basis. All I have left is his arm, Paper work and a real cool Robotech Club form.

The Bioroid Armor and Invid Scouts below are purchases I did recently, Both are from the Matchbox Line, I also placed a Exo Squad Scout trooper so readers could see there is almost no difference between the both versions other than about ten years of production between both.

Now for Exo Squad, It was a great time for me to buy a few of the vehicles I needed and although I never snagged the Hover Tank Dana Drove which was pure awesomeness, I did grab a ton of armors, My favorites were the minis below, Also check the one front card and the profiles of each perspective armor for stats and story's.

Then there were the bigger six inch counter parts, With more maneuverability, I had all four of the good guys at one point, But now only have the Gladiator.

And last but not least the Zentradi Power armors. The vehicles that reeked havoc inside the SDF1 Flown By Myria Sterling. Below are two from exo squad and two from The Matchbox line, Notice the totally different colors of both sets! A great army building ploy? :)

Robotech Carded Part 3. Matchbox Line

The Dana Sterling one I have below is the one favorite I have. Robotech has always been one of my favorite cartoons, Not as much as Starblazers but close. So it was no wonder in the 80's when Matchbox created a figure line did I jump on board. The next week I will dedicate the blogg posts to my Robotech Collection. I do not have every piece and to view all of the Robotech collectibles check out http://www.robotechmuseum.com/

These posts will focus on the pieces I have for my current collection although I will part with most of it, I do plan on keeping a few parts I really like, such as the Shadow Fighter from the Master Collections. I wouldn't mind one day having all the alphas from that series but if not no biggy, I've had allot more to My Robotechs such as the Gaiken Cyclones and Alpha, and tons of odds and ends, but Robotech was such a small part of my collection that it never was that big of a thing for me to let go of pieces and parts.

Today we focus on the Two carded figures I have from the Matchbox Irwin collection. These are a Canadian version of the American figures and come complete with French and English Translations of the cards. The Lunk is the second to rarest figure to find Carded. The first being the Black Suited Myria Sterling. She was the one figure who had a total of Four versions made in production. The red suited, Zentradi Micro Zentradi Biggen and the Black suited.

A series of legos that was short but sweet, I only got a few of these sets, and in weeding my herd of toys they went the way of the dinosaur, yet deserve a spot immortalized on my Toy Blogg. One of the few historic lego series (if only Lego made a Rome series – Something I hinted to them and got a generic response back to in e-mail form) Below are some of the coolest little lego sets made for a series that saw very few hard core collectors.

21rst Century Toys Ultimate Soldier 1:18 line.

When I first saw this line in a TRU in Burlington Vermont I went crazy, a WWII line dedicated to the GI Joe Scale 3 ¾ scale. I bought every German and American figure, Fighter and land vehicle they had out. Then one day a year later, a friend in need needed money, So I sold the entire collection. Save for one craft, The F4U Corsair, (wrongly labeled as a F4Y) I also had a massive amount of 1:32 scale figures and tanks and later sold all of them to help pay for bills, and gave my entire collection of aircraft away to a friend. But, all of this being said, I bring to you below pictures of the F4U, this aircraft was partial to me because it was flown by my Grand Father during WWII for the Marine Corps. The last of the 21rst toy line that I have, yet not the least. Below that I’ve posted 4 pictures of the 1:32 scaled ones I no longer have yet entered into a Diorama contest years back. Enjoy.

I got right into 32X do to one fact and that was that they were the same scale as the 1:32 plane models that my Grand pa had built for me when I was a kid. I'm carrying that tradition in building my own and found that the 32X vehicles and men are a perfect match, So began my obsession :)

This is my very first 1/32 Model ever built it is of a FW-190D-9 flown by Gerhard Michalski, the last Geschwader Kommodore of JG 4 Neukirchen/Germany, April 1945. I had to mix and match different decals from three other planes to get this ones specific markings but I believe it came out half way decent for my first go at it. I included the scout car and a LT. to give the run way some character.

This plane My Grand Pa built years ago for me. It is my favorite model to date. He did the markings of the defenseof the Reich scheme and seeing he catapulted me into modeling I only felt it right to use his model in a Dio. I have it flying over a pair of Tigers on the frozen grounds of the Russian front.

I loved The movie 'Enemy at the Gates' In the film there are two or three cut scenes at the eastern front where there are a row of tanks and in the back ground you can see the German HQ tent. I thought, Hey that would make a great Dio. I decided to get a couple dead bonsai trees and prop them in the background and using the over three feet of hellish snow mother nature has graced us with around here I made a small mound and nicely place three of my Tigers at a parking position. I added the 32X German in over coat because he's one of the only Germans that 21rst released that looks like he could some what with stand the cold of the Eastern front .

This is a model of a Messerchmitt ME 163B-a1 Komet of II/JG400 Based at Brandis. I decided to use the back ground (A partially done painting by my X Wife) as an indoor dio. I used the 32x Fallshirmjager because I thought he would look perfect for looking up at a flying rocket as it roared over head, Yes they probably didn't fly straight like this but who knows, Maybe the Komet could be soaring over this hill side for a landing. Either way I think it works.

McFarlane figures.

Well ever since my first purchase of a Spawn figure, I had been addicted to McFarlane toys. Years back, I sold my entire Spawn figure collection (I had about thirty) and the money went into fixing my and my X wife’s car. But, back then I new I couldn’t stay away from the detail and awesomeness McFarlane put into his figures. I soon was given a Legend of Sleepy Hollow figure from my x for an Anniversary gift, the coolest memory I have of that is one night around Halloween we had the figure on a shelf, and two really spooky Tree like candles holders on either side, with the candles lit and the lights off it was REALLY spooky as hell to see the headless horse man rearing in the shadows. It also didn’t help we lived in northern Vermont in the lands of the legend.

Years later I bought into the McFarlane Military series which I will display today. I’m also in to the HALO McFarlane’s but that is for the What I’m building on the massive HALO thread. Soon to come. First I’ll start off with the two Sports figures I have, I had some red sox but sold them a year or so back, I really am Cutting back on my toy collection. BUT The Tony Stewart figures here deserve a place on my page as he is my favorite NASCAR driver.

Yes Tony is holding a Spartan Battle rifle. No idea why but my buddy Boba Cox put it there and it’s been there ever since.

So, below is the McFarlane Military series US Marines. OOHRAHHH Who doesn’t love the USMC? My Gramps was a high ranking Lifer, and many more of my family followed the path. They are the badest of the bad, soo when McFarlane announced they were hooking the military up, I new I would get all and every USMC they made. And so I did. Below is the entire USMC Modern collection. McFarlane is working on older wars now, and my hope is they touch on Rome and Samurai times as the amount of detail put into these figures is FLAWLESS. So with out further babble here is The USMC McFarlane collection.

PS. I have no issue with any of the other four branches of US Armed forces, You are all bad ass heroes in my opinion!

Well now on to two Ninja who for the past year laid protection over my desk. My favorite adversary's, Sub Zero and Scorpion. Scorpion by far my favorite. These two Ninja warriors were a must for my collection. Years ago, GI Joe like Versions were made. These much bigger and menacing versions are a must for any Mortal Kombat fiend. Now for sale on my e-bay page under the name Kunimitsu, they may be yours. They had indeed been enjoyed in a display fashion for all at my job :)

Well first off let me state, I am selling most of my collection off. I've decided I've been a hard core collector for way to long, and not that it has cut in to my life as of late, But, I would rather spend my Money in other area's such as rebuilding my Teen age car My 65 ford galaxie. That being said, I will not be getting out of collecting full force, I will still collect my Star Wars Legos, McFarlane Halo, and GI Joe new ones as they are released. But my focus on other toy collections is done, and so is the room for them in my Collectible room. Although they had brought countless moments of enjoyment, I now want to share them through E-bay and other means to you or others who can have the same or more enjoyment with them as I had. So That being said, I bring you one of my favorites, Now on sale on E-bay. The entire Forces of Valor Roman Collection.

I got into these right about the same time I had started Playing Rome Total War on the PC. I love the roman era, I even own a Centurion Helmet, I Love the roman history, and their means of warfare. So it was no shock that when I first came across a set of these soldiers in a Target here in Texas did I hunt the entire collection down including the last Two two packs that were released and VERY VERY hard to come buy.

Lego Star Wars set #7671 AT-AP Walker.

A vehicle I didn't notice was in Episode III until I saw it on a Star Wars figure box art, still non the less, Bad ass looking. I am a sucker for the walkers, Especially the ATST, in which I would be first in line if they ever made one. So there is no question that I would like it's early brother the three legged AT-AP. The set was fantastic to build and didn't fall apart by just looking at it like the AT-PT set did. My only beef is that lego seldom gives the troops needed for the seats on each vehicle, Like the ATPT, ATAT or Famed Drop Ship. I would gladly pay the extra fifty cents for an additional fugue to fill the on e empty co pilot seat in this vehicle, yet I had to resort to filling it with a troop builder pack. None the less this vehicle gets a eight star rating from me! Fun to build doesn't fall apart, and if it wasn't for the empty co pilot seat it would get a full ten stars.

Star Wars Modern Hoth and Endor Battle Packs. 2007 Target Exclusives.

Both sets are fantastic! I bought both for the imperials alone. Shown here though in their pre 'I ripped into em' faze these sets came with the equal amount of Rebels (in which I sold off paying for my share of the Imperials) both sets come with ATST's a vehicle I wish was real. One in Endor the other Hoth markings. Both ATST Drivers are variant head sculpts, and the assorted Scout troopers and Snow troopers were all available at one point in other collections, The scout being the Comic Convention Shadow Scout previously released. As you can see these sets just add to my ever growing Imperial War Machine. I had a buddy ask me, "If you sell all the rebels, who does your Imperials war against." Well in my whacked realm of imagination the clones. Yes the Clones are evil and fight for a republic, and The Imperials are a saving force of freedom and light in a horrible galaxy. Wow, Ok I'm going to go have a Pint now……

Star Wars Modern – Republic Commando's Delta Squad Set and Scorch Carded. 2006. Saga Collection.

Well Star Wars is second to me to GI Joe. That being said, I once was what many would call, a completest. I collected EVERY Star Wars Figure and had EVERY Star Wars figure of the new line carded. It was like an Evil obsession. All the way up to episode II I had em all, and then quiet recently I gave up. Parted and either sold or gave away the majority of my collection. Cutting it down to strictly Imperials, Clones and Jawa's for my Modern collection. This being said I started going into my collection and opening the boxed sets I had and selling the assorted non clones and imps on rebelscum.com one of these recent sets was the Entertainment earth limited exclusive Republic Commando set. Shown below before I opened it and sold the Geanosians off.

I kept the republic commando's one because I collect the clones, and two I loved the game for the X Box that they were made after. All four are exclusive to the boxed set save for the carded Commando below. He is to date the only commando available out side of the exclusive. Enjoy

Star Wars Vintage Collection - Rebel Commando and Endor Forest Ranger.

Tonight's review/memory trip is the Rebel Commando 1983 and Endor Forest Ranger. 1984

The below Shots are of two varied Rebel commandos. There were many 'Variations' in the vintage line, due to the fact that figures were produced in multiple countries around the world. The two below, one on the left has no country stamp, while the right hand side has Made in China. both have slight differences in paint used and facial features. Is one worth more than the other? no definitely not in monetary means, yet the one on the right is valued in a much different sense, And to me is priceless. Going through hard times years back, when my collection was held by those un willing to give it back (long story) I was up in My wife's grand Fathers garage attic, getting things of my wife's down for her to go through and either take back to her home or to the salvation army, well her Grand father decided to do some spring cleaning him self, he gave me a bunch of old work Thermoses, That are fantastic, and going through an old lunch box he came upon a rebel commando, knowing what I was going through, instead of chucking it, he gave it to me, he asked in a wide smiled grin if I wanted it. To this day I will always remember the moment of good Cheer that simple gesture gave me in a really bad time in my life, he was one of and still is even though gone from this earth, a dear friend, and this figure will always remain in my collection.

The vehicle, the Endor Forest ranger, was always shown with these rebel commandos in them, piloting around endor, although never shown int he movie it does resemble the Droid tank used on Kashyk against the wookies in episode III Room enough for one trooper this vehicle is a must have for any Rebel Commando soldier.

Let me begin with a story. In the early 90's I was lucky enough, while living in Boston to have a few friends in the comic business, One day a older gentleman entered into New England Comics in Cambridge were a buddy of mine worked, over a week he negotiated the sale and distribution of a few thousand carded Star Wars vehicles and figures from kenners collection, with the in I had with the company, I was able to get the majority of my carded figures from them for next to nothing. Below are shots of one of those carded figures, a tri Logo Scout trooper. Tri logo's are a fun collectible because they were done in three languages, English, French, and Spanish, The three major markets for Star Wars figures. The backs of these figures had a selection of the figures available with one or two of the figures blacked out, not sure if this was done as a mysterious thing for kids to wonder what the blacked out figure would look like or if it was just a mistake in production.

The scout trooper was one of my faves, in fact any Imperial was, I've attached the figure below, front and back, his gun was unique to the scout trooper only, and not packaged with any others in the line.

Also shots of his coin, although done with collecting the vintage line I do not have all the coins although I wouldn't mind completing just the imperials, I would not pass others I may come across in my travels.

Also I'm including shots of the Box and Blue prints and Vehicle shots of their Scouts vehicle, the Speeder Bike. The ultimate vehicle in the Star wars universe for speed through the trees. Countless battles my Speeders went through in the days of back yard play, and the one function this vehicle featured was the press of a button to make the speeder explode into a fiery mass of plastic parts, fire and sound all imaginary of course.

Stormtrooper - 1977 - Kenner

Continuing on the path Of Storm troopers. The Foot soldier and back bone of the Imperial War machine, I feature today the Imperial Storm trooper, He was the one I had a few of and my first army builder, although in the movies, they couldn't hit the side of a barn from a four foot distance, nor could they fight there way out of a room of unarmed men, They were ruthless and blood thirsty warriors in my battles of old. They were the front lines of my Star Wars invasions of a dresser drawer or a table top planet in the living room. Below are photos of one of the troopers I have, armed with their traditional blaster, the storm trooper featured the same articulation as any Star Wars figure, arm and legs, no helmet movement though, I was fortunate enough to be able to snag a POTF coin later in life and a carded one from the Empire Strikes Back, all featured below, when collecting any Star Wars figure, you need to look for one thing, a NON reproduction weapon, in today's market that is a very hard thing to find, because of back yard molders selling 'Reproduction pieces' for non reproduction prices, luckily I was able to find all of my collection prior to the flood of reproduction items, another Item to find if collecting loose are the coins, From POTF, many were made few are owned, and some can fetch upwards of prices over a hundred dollars. Some like the Storm trooper one below are cheap, Collecting carded figures is also an issue in the Vintage realm, many of shady sellers have shown there faces, selling resealed or re packaged figures as VINTAGE CARDED. Best place to find reliable sellers and or graders is in the forums of Rebelscum.com <http://rebelscum.com/>, many seller or buyers there will always send you to the right and reliable buyers or sellers. NEVER just buy from some on E-bay who one has horrible feedback or two is new yet dumping tons of Vintage carded figures….. A deal now a days in the collectable realm is almost always never too good to be true. The Storm trooper carded below however was, Unpunched and in pristine condition! :)

Squid head Kenner – 1983.

Might as well do a quick one on this figure as well, seeing the carded version is above. He was a great alien, you saw him for three seconds in the film and in my Star Wars wars back in the early eighties he was one of the first aliens to bight it from a GI Joe attack. Packaged with the only Gray version of the Bespin blaster, this figure also came with two cloth capes and a Plastic under garment shield. They just don't make figures as simple and as cool as this anymore.

Imperial Storm Trooper (Hoth Battle Gear) Kenner – 1980.

One of my favorite Imperial troops to date, The Imperial Storm Trooper (hoth battle gear) better known to the collecting world as The Snow trooper, was it. From the time they stormed the halls of Echo base killing rebels and surrounding the millennium falcon, to the period were sadly they are blown to hell by Han's ships cannon, I wanted to be one of those guys.
Today my focus is on the 1980 produced figure. I picked him to do because 1 he is one of my all time faves, and two I have a couple carded versions of him I would like to share photos of.

The first picture is of the Snow Trooper loose and front and back. He came with a rifle, (note to collectors – there are two variants of this rifle produced and both could be found packaged with the Snow trooper or Dengar) he also came with a cape or waist cape. I never knew what this was for as it looked more like a dress and all but the one I own from my child hood and the umpteenth million Snow troopers I have are gone. Torn or thrown away.

The carded one I have here front and back is in fact from 1980's Empire Strikes back released line, Notice the cool send away figure add.

The third is a cared two pack with Squid Head – Squid head was produced in 1983 as part of the return of the Jedi collection, so you may be asking, why the heck is a snow trooper packaged with a desert alien? Well sadly toward the end of Kenner's Star Wars collection in the early eighties, Kenner had but loads of figures not packaged, so their idea was to package them all in two packs and distribute them to Kay-Bee toy stores and sell them for a meager 2.00 the great thing is, these babies are now worth in upwards of 200 dollars or more depending on the rarity of the figure. As you can see on the back side of these cards there is nothing printed at all. Showing the cheapness of the packaging, yet a great conversation piece and two figures untouched by mans hands : )

Star Wars Vintage collection - Jawa and Sandcrawler.

Vintage Jawa's and the Sandcrawler. - 1977

Kicking off what will be a LONG collection of threads, as I own every Vintage Figure made from the Star Wars Line, I see no reason not to start with one of my most favored Aliens ever, The Jawa from 1977.

The Jawa was my favorite alien as a kid, I loved them, and they were awesome and believable, not like the freaks known to us all as Ewoks. Jawa' were a technological scavenging race of shrouded beings that had and still do have an air of mystery to them. Scene through out Star Wars a new Hope slumming around Mos Eisley, or pimping it through the desert in a massive armored Sand crawler, the Jawa' were the race to go to if hunting for droid parts or stolen droids in the case of a New Hope.

My earliest memory of the word Jawa (which weirdly was a Motorcycle line back in the late 60's and early 70's – look up on e-bay and find anything to do with JAWA cycles) was standing in line in 77 with my dad. In Boston we had a lot of Portarican's, and being in the Irish neighborhood, close to the Portaricins, there were like four theaters. Well we went to the Portarican's one thinking their would be more seats to an already three block line at the Dorchester theater.

So there we are, I'm four and I all of a sudden start singing a song I just made up on the spot about how Portarican's and Jawa' are friends. This stemmed from my uncle coming to our house for their game night and telling my dad in front of us that they have Portarican's in the movie played by Jawa'. I know it sounds racist, but the Portarican's were like Jawa', though now they no longer scavenge through our trash, they were pushed out by the Vietnamese. And it wasn't a bad thing, they were just resilient, much like the Jawa', they found crap we tossed away and fixed it and sold it for a profit. The point is, I was four and in line surrounded by Portarican's in their neighborhood, sinning a song about Portarican's and Jawa'. My dad truly thought we would die that night. I look back and wonder how we didn't. When the Jawa' came on the screen I almost shit my pants, two glowing beady eyes holding a rifle that shot electricity. Wow, but that fear turned to admiration even for a four year old as they rescued the droids R2D2 and C3P0.

I received my first Jawa for a Birth Day present, and remember once finding one packaged at a drug store for 3.00. Since then my collection of Jawa' has grown to Eleven Loose, and one Packaged MOC with the Power of the Force coin. Below are Photos of the front and Back of the carded one. And then shots of a Jawa with and with out his poncho, both front and back.

Also a Empire Strikes back carded one I got from a friend for dirt cheap, The card was really bowed but with help of a Acrylic case the figure is prestine now.

Also a shot of My Jawa Clan in Kenner's 1977 Jawa Sand crawler. This vehicle was more than a find for me. I ran across it in Mass. at a Yard sale. Some Mom sold it to me for 4.00. It was missing the droid elevator (wich I since had replaced) but for 4.00 any one that knows Star Wars collectibles knows this is a steal. These things go for well over 150.00 on eBay or any where else in just its condition. With a box or complete they easily fetch well over 400 dollars.

Also included in the Jawa Clan shot below is a a Power droid, I'll cover these guys later, but that's what he is if any one is wondering. A Point of interest on the Jawa – he was originally released with a Vinyl cape much like that of Ben Kenobi's. These can easily fetch carded over a thousand dollars, BUT BEWARE – these are RARE in all that it implies, there are many people who reproduce and sell off copies that can never be questioned due to their original look, and will scalp people on a 4 cent item… I do not nor never will own one unless by chance I meet some old guy from Kenner that has one and gives it to me. I don't think I will ever spend a thousand dollars for an action figure.

Well it's been a while since my last review and witht he AC down and my Room in shambles, That has been the reason and focus as of late. But I'll nail this one out for the fun of it. A set I had got just for the droids, The naboo fighter. I have every set and every Droid made to date for lego. this being the last set needed until the Giant Droid carrier just came out with a total of 20 of the buggers. I present to you a fun, small and enjoyable set, It comes with a R2, Anakin in Pilot helmet, the original Naboo Fighter, and two droids and a cart. All are perfect for a 30 minute build, and adds more troops to an already massive army. I will be taking a shot soon enough of the entire Droid forces. It will be neet, before hand I will be featuring all the sets they are featured in. This being one of them.

Star Wars Lego Sets Part 6. The Millennium Falcon Set #7190

The Millennium Falcon Set #7190 – 2000.

A find for me and a half, this is one set I was able to get from a Buddy, and I'm glad I did. It was the first release of the famous smugglers ship, and at the time I snagged it, the leia figure alone, the only version of her like this made, went easily for seventy dollars on E-bay. I know, who and the hell would pay that for a tiny Lego figure, but people did. Not me, I am lucky enough to have a good buddy who runs across awesome deals and passes em on to me, Druss is his log in on Yojoe.com <http://yojoe.com/> and he has his very own website for sales. So any how, advertisement done, he hooked me up with the falcon and I've loved it ever sense, as my wife has stated, it is one of the coolest ships ever made in any Sci Fi, it is all mostly engine and the crew is just as unique, The set featured the Leia figure above mentioned, Han, Luke, Chewie, 3P0 and R2. It features a tool chest, escape pod, a Chess table, gear, and tons of play features. I do truly enjoy this set, The landing gear is less than desirable, but I think they fixed that with the second release. So below enjoy the action shots of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxie. The finale two photos are figures exclusive to the second millennium falcon set released. of course the Snow trooper is added with an extra snow trooper and my Custom laser E Web blaster with generator. then there are the Han and Leia hoth Lego figures. I got these because i didn't want to fork out the money for a whole different millennium falcon but I did how ever want the three exclusive figures with the set, so these are the extras I have from a set I do not own, Enjoy.

The first produced came with a Storm trooper and an actual Tie Fighter landing column, when I get time, and more time, I will reproduce a few of these for all of my Lego Tie's, The interceptor Bomber and Vader's tie (although not owned yet eventually I will snag it) The tie fighter was not only produced in the two stated above sets but also with a four pack from LEGO direct, along with Vader's fighter and a Droid Tie fighter, I do not have this set yet, so I'll just cover the two I do have. The second made in 2005 came with a limited Vader and light up saber, a concept enjoyed by collectors like my self. It did however not come with the Tie fighter stand. The fighters are also constructed a tad different, small variations make them not identical. Again side by side they are hardly noticeable yet upon closer inspection one could notice different parts. Again both are a must have for an Imperial collector like my self. Enjoy photos of each set separately then Side by Side.

One of the harder Lego sets to snag now a days for a decent price, the original ATST was one of the smaller sets, originally selling for fewer than twenty dollars this set easily a year ago went for over seventy in the secondary markets. Until the release of the newer ATST which is far bigger and comes with an ATST Pilot and Lego's new sculpt of a laser rifle.

Why does LEGO retire sets? I have no clue, yet it adds to the collectibility to each set and gives collectors more shelf room at retail stores to be able to buy newer sets every year. The First ATST was for a while the only way to get the chicken walker, and it featured a Chewbacca figure, which was either way a really cool trooper to own. Below are photos of each ATST on its own starting with the first released one with chewy followed by the bigger of the two, and then both in a side by side shot for a size comparison, (the smaller of the two could always be used as an Imperial ATPT, the smaller single personal carrier walker for non Star Wars geeks) or just as a trainer for your troops, that's the fun with legos, or any toy for that matter, it's all up to your imagination!

Well this would be my third Favorite set. The Clone turbo Tank. The first version I have came with a Light up Light saber mace Windu. They no longer make that version because kids got pissed his light saber didn't last forever. Stacey gave me the ok To pick this set up right before it was no longer sold. I scored the big one on this one. Also the cool turret that rides inside the vehicle for deployment in battle can not be beat. The clone Pilot featured in the clone turbo tank is a figure not originaly delivered with that set yet an extra from a friend who I added to the set to pilot the vevicle.

This is Lego's best failure ever. A Lego set made strictly for display. Lego's are meant for kids to play with, not collectors like me to set on a shelf forever. This set is awesome in the fact it has a lot of nook and crannies to play with, A Tool area, A Speeder bike hanger, a Troop bay, But just try to move any leg or door on this behemoth and all the parts just fall all to hell. Would I recommend it for display yes!! But for a kid to play with? Unless the dad wanted to know how to reassemble all 700 pieces by heart, I don't think so.

Now for my Most Favorite set to date. I love this set, to build to zoom after my dogs, it is the crème of the collection. I was able to pick it up a year ago for about 100 dollars. When it hit the shelves it was 88.00 dollars and Stace always said, get it or you'll be kicking your self later. Well Later came and I had the money and I hunted, I couldn't find one for fewer than 170.00 dollars. I hunted and hunted until one day I was at lunch in Burlington and I walked into our only crappy comic shop and there in their small and always limited toy section was a in the box Lego Gun ship for 100 dollars. The box was banged up but I ended up selling that for ten dollars on Bricklink. So in all reality the set cost me 90.00. Now if your trying to find one to buy you can easily expect to spend upward of 200 to 300 dollars for a loose one even higher for it boxed. But money has nothing to do with it seeing I will hold on to this set for some time! Now the only issue I had was that the set came with only 4 troopers. It's a Gun ship/drop ship for God sake, how can only four troopers come with it! Easily solved with bricklink.com I added an entire force!! Enjoy the picts!

Lego Customs.

I'll get these out of the way because they are short and sweet. I never was a massive LEGO customizer, I did three or four sets I kept as a kid for my Classic space guys, one was a memorable Blue pieced Missile launcher type vehicle, Yet when the Tri Pod cannon came out by Lego with the snow trooper set, I couldn't believe the lack on legos part to have such a sad looking and horribly colored E-Web blaster. In the movie, as the snow troopers were setting it up, you thought, 'Oh Shit Han better get the hell out of there before they get that thing set up." So I decided to make one as menacing, along with the generator that wasn't produced by Lego. So that's the first shot, my version of the E-web as featured on rebelscum.com. The only mod I did that isn't in this shot is the cable running from the generator to the gun, but you get the point.

The Second one isn't that much of a custom as I had bought a Lego set a year or so back and the head and helmet was missing from a figure, so I made a helmet less clone.

One of My hobbies is building Lego People, and any set from the castle line classics, none of the new stuff. Below are four custom Lego people I've made. Basically you take spare parts and put em together in cool sets to build a certain character. The first is just a plane Black falcon Axe man, only difference from him and the old is that he has a pair of blue pants, none were ever made with blue only black, Then there is the figure I dubbed Joan of Ark, she is basically made out of the original Knight suite, I gave it a girl head and hair and walla, Finally there are my Black Falcon King and Queen. The Black Falcons never got justice with a King or Queen so now by mix and matching pieces from on line I give you both the King and Queen. Enjoy.

Spartan Warrior.

Well this is my first built from Scratch figure. I'm working on nine more. All unique War faces. Every part was built from separate sets to make the best looking Spartan created, of course Lego doesn't make Bronze sadly, or his helmet would be bronze and not black, along with the shield. But these work for a Lego, I need to get a better sticker cutter to get the Shield more uniformed but as My Ninja Boss said, it gives it a war damaged look, I will post more photos when the squad is assembled.

A Guilty Pleasure I call these. Small Micro Play Sets from Kenner made of Die Cast Figures and Pretty cool plastic play sets and vehicles made to fall apart from explosions, Kenners way of trying to key into the micro collections of the eighties. Many Mini toys were made in this time of the eighties, This was Kenners answer. The guilty part of it all is how inexpensive they are now. Compared to their Vintage 3 and 3/4 brothers, these baby's can go for next to nothing complete and mint on E-bay. Take for instance the below set I'm starting this thread off with, One of the Hoth system Sets (Kenner came out with three conectable series, Hoth, Bespin, and The Death Star) this set has an original price tag of 2.99 WOW what I would do with a time machine, and unbelievably you can find them for only mere dollars more on e-bay, JUST BEWARE of conventions or back yard collectors. Many will claim these are worth hundreds! Do not believe or trust them or be crazy enough to buy them from some freak who claims this! I had a friend from yojoe who though he got a good deal by spending two hundred on a hoth play set...... Not complete... when he found on ebay for fifty he could buy the complete one!

Well enough of Collecting babble, here is complete and NEAR Mint, The First Micro collection set I have, The Hoth Generator play set, complete with blow apart ATST and (Strutting Darth Vader) Acording to the Carded box.

And last but not least, My last Dio done in Vermont in Burlington, this is of Cobra's Python patrol, I know a lot of people think that when the yellow colors of Python patrol were released it was the end of Joes as we knew it….. I agree that if you look at Joes as a military force the yellow accents have no military attributes what so ever…. But with imagination (which you need for all Joes) you can make something up for the lack of 'real life camouflage' for this team. I'm still trying to think of one for these guys… But hey I love em and in My Cobra roster they are an elite team of Cobra recon troops. Taking the best of the best from the Viper forces, Cobra Soldier forces, The Cobra Navy (Python Copperhead) and the Crimson guard and Tele vipers, and place a Crimson Guard General in charge of them (my Acquisition of A Brazilian Crimson Guardsman from my Bro DRuss) You have my 'behind enemy lines – recon troopers' They insert them into enemy territory's to operate as a basic Night force. Sent in to do recon, assault on targets of opportunity, and assassination, they are a force to be reckoned with.

My Dio's – Part #6 The Russians are coming.

Ok ever sense the birth of the Oktober Guard back in the day with the original GI Joe comic series; I loved these guys, not as much as Cobra's or the original series of Joes but I did love em. Then during the original Joe figure series we were lucky enough to get two of the Russians made into figures, grant it not any we saw in the comics but Russians nonetheless. Then time went on and through the release of the Oktober Guard three packs in the 90's and then the comic three packs, we collectors were able to add to our Russian ranks of troops, yet we never saw vehicle to transport them…. SO I decided to make some, well if you can call applying some Soviet styled Stars to a Lanards Corps tank making them. I had to hunt for the most soviet looking Tanks made, I stumbled across what you are about to see plus a vehicle that looked a lot like the one used by the Oktober guard in the 2nd GI Joe Annual. So here they are set up in all their glory.

King's Dio's (or pictures of Joes in my backyard)

I think this is number 4 or 5 in my series, but who's counting. One day I'll have my own sight to host all of these on, but until then here we go : ) Our first shot if of the Joe Toxic response squad or better known as Eco Squad. Lead by flint they investigate a fallen Cobra Toxo viper in a crick out side of Boston mass. After following leads of dead fish by the droves washing up onto shore, they find a crick running toward the ocean polluted with a bluish Toxic chemical that seams to also have caught a Toxo viper in its rush out toward sea. The source was later found to be from an old nuclear dumping sight.

Then we head to the Mountains of Montana where our beloved Hit N Run Scales down a rocky cliff on assault maneuvers.

My Dio's #4 Pictures from across King's Joe Verse.

My first shot is of my entire Cobra Ninja Clan. Devoted to clandestine missions for cobra commander along with his personal protection, these Ninja are the top of the line when it comes to combat. Scene here in their mountain training camp, Storm Shadow, Vypra and Storm Shadows Lt. Ninja Viper stand tall surrounded by their troops all well armed with Traditional Ninja weapons.

The Next Shot is of A Cobra Alley Viper squad in urban Combat training. Now when the orange and yellow Alley vipers came out, I shook my head thinking, "What and the **** was Hasbro thinking?" Then it dawned on me, Have two guys in bright colored armor, well protected behind layers of Kevlar, and send them in first. That way they draw the fire of the crack heads their fighting so that the other Alleys can draw beads on them and the rest is history.

The Next shot is of a couple of my favorite cobra troopers. Marching across a long field of snow two Snow Serpents in Northern Vermont come to a melting Lake, They contemplate the crossing.

And finally for this month, two M.O.B.A.T.S driven by Stealer and Back Stop do patrolling in the Northern States as above a Skystriker XP-14F flown by Slipstream and Ace cover air support.

The Next two shots are of Zartan's squad known to all as the Dreadnocks, as a ruthless biker crew hired by Cobra to unleash Anarchy on area's that cobra can not risk being scene doing damage. These shot's were taken moments before the dreadnocks went on a raid against two rival street gangs who were disrupting an area of Cobra's occupied Boston area. All gang members were found shot and sliced to death. The police have no leads other than crushed Grape soda cans and Chocolate donut rappers.

At an abandoned Military complex deep in the woods of Hingham Massachusetts.

The following photo's depicts my Crimson Guard forces. Now here are a few explanations of my 'Joe Verse' Cobra Chain of command. The Crimson Guard are

the Elitist brigade of Cobra Forces. Highly Trained, Highly dangerous, their purpose is for the most stealth of missions and also the protection of the members of the Cobra chain of Command. The Crimson Guard Immortals are the Personal protectors of Cobra Commander.

The first shot is of a pair of Crimson ASP's near the abandoned fort, a Crimson Viper Recon team checks in while on perimeter patrol. (In my Cobra vers' the Crimson Vipers have nothing to do with the crimson Guard. They are basically a Recon/Guard unit)

There are four basic steps in my Crimson Guard forces. The bottom of that barrel would be what is known to many as the 'Blue' Crimson Guard immortals. In my 'verse' these would be Cobra's selected to join the Elite Crimson Guard but who have not yet earned the distinguished Crimson Uniform. They are known as CG Trainees. Spending their time learning and becoming proficient with all Cobra technology.

The second step to the top of the Crimson Guard chain would be Crimson Guard
Infantry. (Or 'Bronze' Guards men) Distinguished by their bronze emblems 'Non Silver' on their chests. Their purpose is as Battle front leaders and special missions teams. Not quiet at the top of their levels hence they miss the Elite arm insignia of the elite Crimson Guard members.

The third step up is the 'Crimson Guards men' these are the old Crimson Guardsmen. Their Silver Insignias, Arm Insignias and silver highlights on their uniforms designate these as the elite troops of Cobra. Most Cobra soldiers stop their climb at this position. Given the task as generals over town and city take over 'by any means necessary' these are the Crème of the crop in Cobra Forces.

The Crimson Guard Immortals are the end all be all, with in the Ranks of the cobra forces. They are the hand picked and most trusted Guardsmen of Cobra Commander him self. Protected by multi layers of body armor and given the most state of the art equipment these super soldiers are dangerous on their own and even more lethal as a squad.

My Crimson Guard General is shown here. (I know he's not the Crimson Guard commander produced by Hasbro nor is he one of the traitorous evil twins, But
in my 'Cobra Vers' he is the best man for the job.) A personal friend to Cobra Commander and one of the elitist Generals in all the ranks, General Crimson (known as Red Laser to non 'KING vers' followers) he is the utmost fearless and ruthless general in all of the Cobra forces besides Cobra Commander him self.

The next two pictures are shots of the entire Crimson guard force before deployment to a theater of Cobra operations.

Well here is a few more shots of some more Dios of some of my favorite Joes. These Dios are set up and shot in my back yard.

The first Dio is of My Night Force team. The best part of GI Joe is you can use your own imagination and in my 'Joe Vers' Action man is out of there and Dial Tone (a More versatile character) has replaced him. This shot was inspired from some of the early hours of the first Gulf War when SEAL's showed up on the beach with buggies and were greeted by a million reporters. I tried getting this one at dusk with the flash to make it as realistic as it could be.

My second one I took while it was pouring out, With a few cardboard roofs so that Stalker wouldn't get completely drenched I was able to take it. The Manta was one of my faves as a kid and I only could see Stalker piloting it. Here he comes for a landing in a small river inlet for a secret mission.

This one I call 'Talking Football' It came to me one day while thinking about how many Joe Football guys there were. I decided to make this Dio with Capt. Grid Iron going over how versatile the Football styled grenades he had were, the other football fanatic Joes listen attentively.

Last two pictures for this month is of A Viper Recon Station. In My Vers the Vipers are my Marines of Cobra. Each colored Viper is a specific squad. the green ones here are part of My Viper Recon team. Here the Recon Officer tells his finds to a Televiper who transmits the info to the proper channels. Inside the recon out post a tele viper (not scene in this shot) sends the info too headquarters.

Well hope you guys enjoyed the back yard shots. There will be more to come as I sit back and think em up!!!!

Well, I've been back to collecting sense last October, and I was blessed to be able to purchase the majority of my collection (Minus the vehicles) back from a dealer I had to sell them too, way back about five years ago. My love for Joes stems back to my child hood, and with the help of great sellers like D-russ and others here on this board I've been slowly able to place the missing pieces back into what I once had (Now If I only can pick up the elusive Viper team and TRU Cobra soldier and Officer V2) Well when my buddy allows me to borrow her Digital camera I go out into the yard of mine and snap Dio's of some of my stuff below are pictures of a few of my Dios. As I get assorted sets and think of cool ways to set em up I'll have more to follow but for now enjoy a little piece of my Hobby

Picture #1 is of Scrap Iron giving a squad of Vipers the run down on some new Assault rifles.

In 1991 Hasbro in the UK licensed six repaints of older GI Joes into the tiger force paint scheme, I think the only thing I find appealing to these orange, yellow and red colored figures is the craziness of their camouflage, Where are they to battle? the only place I could think that thier camouflage would work is some where in Ronald McDonald's play land.... Hiding and waiting for cobra to attack. below are three of the six made, I am still hunting for the three others and a couple other International Joe's but for now these are the last I have in my current collection enjoy the side by sides of Hit N Run,

One of those figures that is a must have for any Ninja, Ninja Ku hails from Argentina, one of two exclusive Ninjas from Argentina he was used using the below side by shot mold of Storm Shadow, there was another Named SATAN, A Red Cobra Ninja that all of us Comic reading kids lusted after when first knowledge of kids down below owning the famed foot soldier of the Arishkage clan. Ninja Ku was a recent find, and I will also hunt down Satan when I can find him, the original line of Argentine Joes now goes for over five hundred dollars a figure, I know ridiculous, I had one figure on my wanted list until I found out the prices for them, then he quickly came off the wanted list, as I would rather put that money toward a car our bill, instead of a lone figure, but die hard collectors are out there. So below enjoy the translation of Ninja Ku's file card and a shot of both front and back of the figure and the card. A side note, Ninja Ku came with a number of assorted weapons and colors, mine came with two gold Wakishashis and a gold Nunckuck.
